Hitachi R-T310ENDK1 Refrigerator review

As we were moving to new apartment, I wanted to buy a new refrigerator, We are a family of three persons. So, I was looking for 300 lts, double door free frost refrigerator. I searched quite a bit on internet for suitable one. I considered whirlpool refrigerators initially. I googled for reviews. I was set back hearing lot of negative reviews about them. Then I found Hitachi refrigerators, Even though, I had not had any products from Hitachi prior. I went ahead with their brand value. I saw new line of refrigerator available for consumers at various size.

I found Hitachi R-T310ENDK1 refrigerator tailor made for my need.

Here is the specification

I went to Devi international, Jayanagar, Bangalore showroom to check availability. They did not have RT310 model for display instead I saw RT400z model, I inspect the model, I was impressed with the product quality and build. After seeing hitachi refrigerator, I could not appreciate any other brand refrigerator.

I inquired the agent for the price and service quality of the product. He gave a brief details about the product and service quality from Hitachi. He gave me good price of Rs 23000. I was more than happy with the price. I know Devi Internationals for its competitive price offer compare to others. With the promise of free shipping, I paid them advance of one thousand. They promised me to deliver the refrigerator within 3 days.

I waited 3 days anticipating prompt deliver. But, they failed to deliver it on the promising date. They took another 10 days more to deliver, that too, after exchanging many calls. I was totally unhappy with their only shipping part. At last, they delivered refrigerator on next Wednesday. They took almost one week more than promised to deliver.

At last, we had a refrigerator at home. It was stunningly black, beautifully crafted, magnificent piece adored our kitchen. My wife was totally awestruck with the refrigerator. She really liked it. She appreciated my choice. She had just seen it on brochure before ordering. I felt a kind of proud owning it.

Next morning a guy from Hitachi came over to give us demo and guidelines. I was impressed with their immediate response. He gave demo. It has been three days since it started running, refrigerator is doing its duty peacefully, making no noise at all. I will update its performance once it completes a month.

Uninterrupted melody is playing from FM radio. Midnight is ticking on clock's hands. Eyes are still wide awake. Thinking about Dead poet society.

Here are some of the memorable quotes from the movie.

John Keating: We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. To quote from Whitman, "O me! O life!... of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless... of cities filled with the foolish; what good amid these, O me, O life?" Answer. That you are here - that life exists, and identity; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. That the powerful play *goes on* and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?

Neil: [quoting Henry David Thoreau] "I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life."
Dalton: I'll second that.
Neil: "To put to rout all that was not life; and not, when I had come to die, discover that I had not lived."

John Keating: Close your eyes, close your eyes! Close 'em! Now, describe what you see.
Todd Anderson: Uh, I-I close my eyes.
John Keating: Yes.
Todd Anderson: Uh, and this image floats beside me.
John Keating: A sweaty-toothed madman.
Todd Anderson: A sweaty-toothed madman with a stare that pounds my brain.
John Keating: Oh, that's *excellent*! Now, give him action - make him do something!
Todd Anderson: H-His hands reach out and choke me.
John Keating: That's it! Wonderful, wonderful!
Todd Anderson: And all the time he's mumbling.
John Keating: What's he mumbling?
Todd Anderson: Mumbling truth.
John Keating: Yeah, yes.
Todd Anderson: Truth like-like a blanket that always leaves your feet cold.
John Keating: [some of the class start to laugh] Forget them, forget them! Stay with the blanket. Tell me about that blanket!
Todd Anderson: Y-Y-You push it, stretch it, it'll never be enough. You kick at it, beat it, it'll never cover any of us. From the moment we enter crying t-to the moment we leave dying, it'll just cover your face as you wail and cry and scream.
[long pause then class applauds]
John Keating: Don't you forget this.

Another favorite quote from movie 'Legends of the fall'

One Stab: I thought Tristan would never live to be an old man. I was wrong about that. I was wrong about many things. It was those who loved him most who died young. He was a rock they broke themselves against however much he tried to protect them.
